Surf Courses & Surfschool - learn to surf on Fuerteventura
All surf courses run parallel, so you can start your surf course any day of the year. On request we can arrange a personal surf course package out of the following courses: beginner surf course, intermediate surf course, advanced surf course.
On your first day we select the right wetsuit and surf board according to your surfing level, needs and desires. Afterwards we decide depending on the wave and wind conditions to which beach we will go for the surf lessons.
Then we head off to the beach.
Every day we drive with our 4x4's to the surf spot/beach, which provides the best waves for the surfing level of our surf students. On the way you get to know more about Fuerteventura, it's landscape and it's people.
At the beach we first point out the currents, the waves and explain the important safety points to our students. Then we explain and demonstrate the task to learn for the day.
Just a gentle warm up and than everybody is off to the water.
At all times our surf instructors are in the water with you, helping you catching waves and give you feedback on how to improve your surf technique.
As we place extra value on a small intructor - student - ratio (max. 1:6), we can teach every surf student individually and design the surf lessons according to the learning progress of our students.
Needless to say there will be enough time to answer all your questions about tides, currents, waves, winds and to give you extra advice for your surfing.
After a little break you will have time to practice the surf techniques learned in the first part of the lessons. Of course our surf instructors will be with you the whole time. Twice a week you will be filmed for our video coaching.
NEW: Radio helmet coaching! The radio helmet coaching will be like a live video coaching, were a surf instructor can coach you while you are actually up and riding. A great way to improve your surfing skills and learn complex maneuvers in a short time!
