Surf Courses & Surfschool - learn to surf on Fuerteventura

Our surfschool runs surf courses year round on Fuerteventura. All surf lessons are parallel, so you can start your surf course any day of the year.
We recommend two weeeks surfschool for maximum progress.
On request we can arrange a personal surf course package for you.

All courses contain: surf equipment (Billabong wetsuits, NSP and Surftech surfboards etc.), theory and practical instruction, videocoaching, transfers to the most suitable surf spot, transfers to your accommodation and insurance.

After breakfast we will pick you up from your hotel or from the surfcamp and bring you to our office, where we prepare the surf equipment (surf board, wetsuit and lycra) for the day.
Afterwards we decide according to the wave and wind conditions to which beach we will go to for the surf lessons.
Then we head off to the beach. Every day we drive with our 4x4 to a different beautiful beach, chosen according to your level of surfing. On the way you get to know more about Fuerteventura, it's landscape and it's people.

At the beach we first point out the currents, the waves and explain the important safety points to our students. Then we explain and demonstrate the task to learn for the day.
Just a gentle warm up and than everybody is off to the water. At all times our surf instructors are in the water with you, to help you to catch waves and give you feedback on how to improve your surf technique.

Needless to say there will be enough time to answer all your questions about tides, currents, waves, winds and to give you extra advice for your surfing.

After a little break you will have time to practice the surf techniques learned in the first part of the lessons. Of course our surf instructors will be with you the whole time. Two times a week you will be filmed for our video coaching. After the surf lessons we will drop you back to your hotel or surfcamp, where you can spend the evening together with the other surf students and gently let it fade away.

Beginner Surf Course/Surfschool

program:
- riding a broken wave on your belly in waist to chest deep water
- taking off on a broken wave in waste to chest deep water
- trimming and turning the surfboard on a broken wave in waste to chest deep water
(contains minimum two videocoachings)

Advanced Beginner Surf Course/Surfschool
(Every day we choose the surf spot with the best wind and wave conditions according to your surf level.)
program:
- paddling and diving technique to reach the line up
- positioning in the line up, searching the peak (beginning of the wave)
- catching a green/unbroken wave on your belly
- taking off on a green/unbroken wave
- bottom turn
(contains minimum two videocoachings)
