Hello, I'm Christof. I founded the OTRO MODO Surf Camp in Morro Jable in 2007.
A surf camp is a place to learn to surf and to meet like-minded people. You can go surfing together with other experienced surfers and share your memories of surfing.

I believe that to ensure a sporty and relaxing holiday the surf camp should make you feel comfortable and at home. Our accommodations have quiet surroundings, clean and comfortable rooms, sea-views, less than a 2 minute walk to the beach and nearby seafood restaurants, tapas bars and a disco where you can enjoy the evening and gently let it fade away.

OTRO MODO offers different types of accommodation for every taste and budget.
All the surf camps we offer, have in common that the apartments and rooms are next to each other. So it's easy to meet your fellow surfers after the surf lessons or guiding and spend the afternoon and evening together.

Our surf camp's apartments are located directly at the sea in Morro Jable. The apartments are nicely furnished and have a bedroom, bathroom, living room with Sat-TV, Wifi and small kitchen. The large communal roof terrace with sea views is ideal for relaxing and to meet with other surf camp's participants in the evening.

The surf hostel is our surf camp with the best price performance ratio. It is located only 200m from the sea and simply and cleanly furnished. There is a roof terrace with sea views. Right next to the hostel is our surf shop / surf school's office.

Our Surf & Yoga Villa in the relaxed surfing village La Pared. The beautiful architect house is located on a 1000 sqm plot with swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, warm outdoor shower, pizza oven, fireplace and much more.
All energy consumed on the property is generated by the in-house photovoltaic system.
The beach of La Pared provides good waves for beginners and advanced surfers all year round.

We offer surf courses specially adapted to the needs of families: Family surfing courses in small groups where you surf together with other families, semi-private family surfing courses where one surf instructor exclusively teaches one family, family surfing courses with child care on the beach and of course pure children's surfing courses.
Since the wishes and preferences of families vary depending on the age of the children, we offer three different types of family-friendly accommodation. This way, even after surfing, you can still spend the day with other families from the surf course.

Thanks to the mild climate, you can surf all year round in Fuerteventura. Depending on the size of the waves, the direction of the wind and the tides, our surf lessons always take place on the beach with the best waves for the surfing ability of our surf students.
We place great value on small groups and a family atmosphere so that we can respond individually to the needs of our surf students.

In our surf camps in Morro Jable we organize a breakfast for our guests in the cosy tapas bar and Cafe "Kuatro70".

In Morro Jable is a large cheap supermarket and many small grocery stores, which are also open on Sundays. There are many affordable and tasty restaurants. We organize dinners for our surf camp's participants from Monday to Friday in the most delicious restaurants in Morro Jable.

In La Pared is a small supermarket, which opens on Sundays, too. In the village is one of the most famous fish restaurants of Fuertventura. Our surf villa has a rustic outdoor kitchen with pizza oven.

In our surfschool office and surf shop in Morro Jable you have Wifi internet access. Also here we rent out SUP, skateboards, Indo Boards, surfboards and beach cruiser bikes. You can buy souvenirs such as: surf t-shirts, board shorts, surf DVDs, wax, sun screen and a lot more.
Also from here we can arrange Yoga lessons and Spanish lessons, wellness, massages with our surfcamp masseur Christian, trial lessons in kite surfing, wind surfing, sailing, diving and many other activities for you.

In our surf school's office we offer evenings with extra surf theorie lessons, movies or our tablefootball tournament. At least once a week all surf students and surf instructors go out together and have a beach barbecue, tapas dinner or surfcamp party.

We offer yoga sessions in all surf camps. In Morro Jable, our yoga teacher Jana gives yoga classes for small groups several times a week directly on the beach in front of the big dune.
In our villa in La Pared, our yoga teacher Lisa tailors the yoga classes to the individual needs of our guests. Here, yoga takes place on the yoga platform in the Canarian garden with sea view.
