Excursions for surfers in Morro Jable

Buggy driving on the dusty gravel roads in the deserted south of Fuerteventura
Sailing trips to snorkel in Fuerteventura
Quad biking to the south cape of the island
Jet ski safari to turtles and dolphins in the south of Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is a water sports paradise, but there is much more to discover on our favorite island. Here are a few excursion tips for all surfers who live in Morro Jable and the surrounding area.

Of all the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is the best known and best island for surfers. But we surfers also want to get to know a little country and people when we travel. There are also (luckily very rare on Fuerteventura) days with not so good waves and, of course, afternoons when you don't surf.

We have been living in Fuerteventura in Morro Jable for a long time. Of course we went on many excursions ourselves. Here are a few tours that we think surfers like!

With the buggy or quad on dusty gravel roads to the southern Cape of the island

Anyone who sees the dusty slopes of Fuerteventura automatically thinks of adventure. Often there are uniquely beautiful beaches or abandoned fishing villages at the end of these slopes. Fuerteventura is there as it always was: deserted, adventurous and wildly romantic.

A portion of Ralley Dakar Feeling and Mad Max Feeling is guaranteed if you drive with a desert buggy or quad to the lonely southern Cape of the island and the fishing village of Puertito.

Boat trips from the port in Morro Jable

Many boat trips start in the small harbor in Morro Jable. There are party trips with large catamarans, individual sailing trips, snorkeling tours with the glass-bottom boat and a jet ski safari.

On all boat trips you will be fascinated by the crystal clear and warm water of Fuerteventura. As barren as the island sometimes looks on land, it is so lively under water.

A special highlight is the guided jet ski tour, where you can often see dolphins and turtles.

Conclusion

Fuerteventura has great waves and is a paradise for surfers. But the island has more to offer at the end of dusty gravel roads, there are often romantic beaches and lonely fishing villages. The crystal clear blue water is ideal for snorkeling boat trips to discover Fuerteventura's underwater world.
