Most know it - Fuerteventura is a year-round destination for surfing. Personally, I would even like to say that it is better to surf on Fuerteventura in autumn, winter and spring than in some summer months.
So a little detour to the Canary Islands when it's uncomfortably cold at home is always worthwhile. Not only because of the good waves but also to simply soak up warmth and sun.
However, the available vacation budget often stands in the way. Often the entire vacation pay has already been used up by the expensive summer vacation.
If you want to go away more often during the year and don't have an unlimited holiday budget, look for inexpensive accommodation.
Our hostel is the only hostel in the south of Fuerteventura
Our hostel is the only hostel in the south of Fuerteventura. Thanks to the good price-performance ratio, it is the ideal place for surfing enthusiasts who prefer to travel inexpensively but several times a year.
The hostel is only 30 meters from our surf school office and apartments. It's only a 150 to 200 meter walk from the quiet side street to the small beach promenade with its shops and restaurants.
Of course, the beach of Morro Jable with the small bay overlooked by the cliff with the distinctive church tower is only 200m away. Here you can stand up paddling and snorkeling very well.
Good waves often break in neighboring Jandia. So you can surf a little further after the surf course.
All rooms in the hostel have their own bathroom
The rooms of the hostel are appropriately furnished. There is no balcony, TV or sea view.
However, there are no double bunk beds in any of the rooms and each room in the hostel has its own small bathroom with shower and toilet.
There is no kitchen in the hostel, but many rooms have a small fridge. There is a roof terrace with a sea view.
Conclusion
Even if the hostel rooms are not as comfortable as our apartments or the villa accommodation - they are still very popular, because there is hardly any cheaper accommodation in the south of Fuertevenutra. The ideal accommodation for surfers who want to travel several times a year.
