Hello surfers!
We have had guests back in our surf courses and in our apartments in Morro Jable for a week.
Here in Morro Jable, the “new normal” - as the Spanish Prime Minister called the rules for distance and hygiene to protect against COVID19 - no longer feels so new. Life starts again in the streets and you can relax in freshly caught fish in street cafes and on restaurant terraces or end the day with a glass of wine or beer.
But what about the other side of the island?
La Pared is located on the wild west coast of Fuerteventura. On the large natural beach, waves break for beginners and advanced surfers all year round.
That is why people live in La Pared who have focused their lives on the sea, the wind and the tides. La Pared is the ideal place for people for surfing is the most important thing in life - and there are quite a few of them;)
La Pared is an ideal place for surfers
... that's why our villa in La Pared is also called Surf Villa, because this is where people meet who are surfing in Fuerteventura.
Many of our guests appreciate the wild and unspoilt landscape in La Pared. You always have an unobstructed view of the horizon and see the mountains of the southern peninsula and the less developed hinterland of the center of the island.
But as already written, it is the two beaches that make up the place. Many surfers on Fuerteventura have ridden their first waves here.
There will soon be another apartment in our surf villa
The last few weeks and months we have used the time of the exit restrictions to renovate and repair our surf villa.
We have made the garden beautiful again and partially replanted. Of course, the pool was freshly painted again. The water in the pool is just surreal blue. The whirlpool has been overhauled again, there is a new sauna heater and many other improvements, big and small.
Last month we mainly built the new apartment "Tierra", which is set in the upper part of the property in the Canary Garden.
When the apartment is finally finished, it will have an outdoor kitchen in the garden, a private terrace overlooking the pool and the sea and a bedroom with a sea view.
Conclusion
As of today we have guests in our beautiful surf villa in La Pared, the small surfing village on the wild west coast of Fuerteventura. In the past weeks and months we have renovated and repaired a lot so that our villa now shines in new splendor. Not long anymore and there is another apartment with a sea view and a cozy outdoor kitchen directly in the Canary Garden.
