Are there any hostels in Fuerteventura especially for surfers? If so, where are these hostels?

Hello surfer,
Hostels are inexpensive accommodations in good locations. If you can do without luxury in accommodation and are looking for a clean room in a good location, hostels are the best choice in many destinations.
The money saved can be invested in an additional week's vacation or maybe in the next surf trip.

Due to the year-round warm summer weather on Fuerteventura, you hardly spend any time in the accommodation and most of the time outside, for example on the beach with surfing, SUP, volleyball or just swimming and relaxing. In the evening you can go to one of the many fish restaurants and tapas bars with your new friends from the surf course. Most of the restaurants have an outdoor area and you can sit in your T-shirt in the warm summer air under the starry sky almost all year round.

Many people save the money for the accommodation and prefer to go out to eat a little more often in the evening.

Our hostel in Morro Jable is the only hostel in the south of Fuerteventura

I have already written several times in this blog that you can surf good waves on empty beaches in Fuerteventura's south. So that the waves remain empty, I unfortunately cannot write you about all of these beaches and surf spots where they are.
Don't worry, there are so many that everyone can find their own secret spot in a week's surf vacation.

What there is little of in the south of the island are cheap accommodation.
Our hostel is the only hostel in the south of Fuerteventura. It is located in the small fishing village of Morro Jable. As a hostel should be, the rooms are clean and inexpensive.

But you get a great location in town. Quietly located just a few steps from the restaurants and tapas bars and only 150m from the sea. It is only 30m to our office.

Every room in our hostel has its own shower and toilet

There are no bunk beds in the hostel. All rooms have two beds and can be occupied by one or two people. Each room has its own shower and toilet. Many rooms also have a small fridge and free WiFi.

There is no shared kitchen, but this year the owners will install it on the roof terrace. From the roof terrace you have a sea view and here is also a good place to have breakfast or to sit together with the other residents in the evening and end the day of surfing with a beer or a glass of wine.

The best way to do this is in the many small restaurants and bars. Very few guests have missed a communal kitchen so far. You can have breakfast on the roof terrace and for dinner there are many inexpensive restaurants where you can eat excellent tapas or fresh fish.

Our guests usually go out to eat together in the evening.

Conclusion

Fuerteventura has most of the surf spots in the Canary Islands. Especially in the south of the island there are still several beaches that do not appear in any surf directory. What is hardly available are inexpensive accommodations. Our hostel is the only one in the south of Fuerteventura. All rooms in the hostel have their own bathroom with shower and toilet.
