now it is only a few weeks until we officially reopen our surf camp here in Fuerteventura.
After several weeks of no surfing and only at home, we are now back on the beach every day.
The sand bars in La Pared and Jandia are ready for summer. The last few days were really what you imagine surfing in summer: small clean waves, warm water, bright sunshine and relaxed people in the line up.
Of course we weren't lazy. In the past weeks we have worked a lot in our surf villa in La Pared. Soon there will be a new beautiful apartment which has a separate terrace with pool and sea view and a rustic outdoor kitchen in our Canarian garden.
COVID-19 hygiene in our accommodations
In coordination with the German doctors Carola Simoni and Norbert Kuner, we have adapted our on-site hygiene measures so that you can spend a relaxing and safe vacation. All of our accommodations have separate bathrooms and kitchens that you don't have to share with other travelers. We wash our bed linen and always wash the dishes with at least 60 degrees.
All public areas of the Surf Villa are regularly disinfected and there are disinfection dispensers.
Our surf course corresponds to the current hygiene measures!
We have trained our team and adapted our course to the current requirements for distance and hygiene. We regularly disinfect our surf material. Every surf student gets the same wetsuit and surfboard from us for the duration of their stay.
In addition to our instruction on the theory of surf material, tides and currents, we also explain our measures for COVID-19 hygiene in short simple steps.
On the beach we keep a distance from other surfers and other surf schools. Thanks to our Land Rover Defender, we can also get to beaches that are deserted even in high season!
A mask is required in the car.
Our surf instructors wear a mask in the mask and on the beach during the entire time so that you can better follow the explanations and technical tips.
Conclusion
Fuerteventura is free of Corona and it is only a few weeks until we can welcome the first surfers back with us. Our COVID-19 hygiene concept guarantees you a relaxing and safe vacation.
When you arrive, we will briefly explain our new measures to you and we will send you an information sheet with further information. If you experience symptoms of COVID-19, we will assist you and organize the transport to the German consulate doctors Carola Simoni and Norbert Kuner, who are only a few minutes' drive from us.
Of course we also provide you with masks and gloves.
