I thought, "Wow, the year is nearly over! While my friends in Germany are shaking their heads over the sale of gingerbread every year in late summer, my friends in Fuerteventura are asking me which surf spot will be the best. "
In short, one joy the other sorrow! While in Germany at the start of sales of Christmas decorations is reminded of soon approaching cloudy autumn days, one knows in Fuerteventura, which soon begins the part of the year on which every surfer waits.
Surfing in winter in Fuerteventura
Fall and especially winter are the season in Fuerteventura where the island has earned its reputation as European Hawaii. The exposed location of the island allows waves from more than 180 degrees to different directions. If you add the windshell to it, the swell window gets even bigger.
