Surf Glossary - I: from impact zone to inch
Impact Zone
Who moves in this zone, has little to laugh. Here the wave strikes the water surface. You should not paddle through the Impact Zone, nor is it advisable to stay there longer.
Inside
Inside describes 3 terms:
1. "Inside" is a surfer who is in a tube.
2. "Insides" are smaller waves that break near the beach
3. "Inside" you sit as a surfer when you are close to the peak.
Inch
